Day 1: Arrival Jamnagar
Welcome to Gujarat. Our representative would meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Check into hotel and freshen up. Later visit the Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Museum. The lake is situated right in the middle of the city. The place lights up in the evening when the locals throng the lakeside along with their families. It surrounds the Lakhota Fort. Then we visit the Lakhota Palace and Museum. It houses paintings and pottery dating back to 9 th century.
Later in the afternoon you can visit Bala Hanuman Temple. Evening is free for shopping. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Jamnagar – Dwarka (240 Kms/ 5 Hrs Drive)
Today we visit Dwarka. After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to the pious town of Dwarka, also known as the city of gold and the city of Lord Krishna. On arrival visit the famous Dwarkadheesh Temple and the Gomti Ghat. Later in the afternoon, visit the Nageshvara Jyotirlinga temple. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and is very holy to the Hindus. Evening visit the Rukhmini Temple and drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (200km/ 4hrs)
After breakfast proceed for Somnath via Porbandar. In Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – Gandhiji’s birthplace. Then proceed to Somnath. On arrival in Somnath visit the Somnath Temple. It is considered a holy place of the Aadi Jyotirling Shree Somnath Mahadev and the sacred soil from where Bhagvan Shri Krishna took his last journey to his neejdham. Later in the evening watch the sound and light show. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: Somnath – Diu (90Kms / 2 Hrs)
Today we proceed to the coastal city of Diu. It boasts of the most serene, clean and peaceful beaches in India. Spend the day basking in the sun at the Diu beach. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Diu
This morning is at leisure and you can use it for water sports activities at Nagoa Beach. Later visit the Diu Fort. Built by the Portuguese in 1535 it was one of the most important forts during that time. Next visit the St. Paul’s Church and the Diu Museum. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Diu – Sasan Gir (100 Kms/ 2 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sasan Gir. The Gir National Park houses the Asiatic lion. Evening you can proceed for a safari at the Gir National Park. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Sasangir – Junagadh – Rajkot (160km/3hrs)
One can take an early morning safari. Return back to hotel for breakfast and check out. Then proceed to Rajkot enroute visit Junagadh. See the Ashoka Rock Edicts, Mahabat Maqbara which is a 19 th Century mausoleum of Nawab Mahabat Khan II, and Junagadh Museum. Late evening reach Rajkot and check into hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Rajkot – Gandhinagar – Ahmedabad – Departure (225km/4hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Ahmedabad via Gandhinagar. Visit the Gandhi Ashram, Adalaj Stepwell and Akshardham Temple. Late evening drop to the airport to catch return flight home.
