Char Dham Yatra

Day 1: Arrival Delhi / Haridwar (232 Kms/ 5 Hrs Drive)

Welcome to Delhi The Grand Capital of India. On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative would meet you. Today you commence on your drive to Haridwar.

Hardiwar, translated to Hindi means the gateway to God Hari. It is one of the most religious places in India and the starting point of the Char Dham Yatra. Devotees from all over the country visit Haridwar to take a dip in the holy waters of Ganga, which is believed to wash away the sins of the mortals. Upon arrival in Haridwar check into hotel. After lunch and freshen up, proceed for darshan to Mata Mansi Devi temple, Ganga Temple and Shri Maya Devi Mandir. Evening with the setting of the sun, visit Har ki Paudi for evening aarti. Late evening return to the hotel and spend overnight.

Day 2: Haridwar / Barkot (175 Kms / 6 Hrs Drive)

Early morning you can opt to go for Ganga Snaan. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Barkot via Dehradun and Mussorie.

You will reach Barkot in evening. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and rest of the evening is at leisure to relax after the long journey.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (46 Kms drive / 6 Kms trek)

After breakfast, visit the first dham in your journey. You can opt for drive that will take 2- 3 hours or take a 6 kms trek. The Yamunotri temple is dedicated to the river Yamuna. After Darshan, return back to the hotel and spend overnight.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (80 Kms /3 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Enroute, visit Praketswar Mahadev Temple. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, check into hotel. Evening, visit the Viswnath Temple.

Overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Uttarkashi- Gangotri- Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ 3 Hrs Drive)

Early morning, leave for Gangotri. The temple of Gangotri is a holy destination for Hindus. It is considered the holy abode of Goddess Ganga. After Darshan, return back to hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (200 Kms/ 7 Hours Approx)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check into hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure to relax after the long journey.

Day 07: Guptkashi- Gaurikund – Kedarnath (45 Kms)

After breakfast, start your trek to Kedarnath via Gaurikund. On arrival in Kedarnath check into hotel. The Kedarnath temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and is nestled in the Kedarnath range at an altitude of 3580m. The temple has stood the calamity of flash floods of 2013 and is still thronged by devotees. In the evening visit Kedarnath temple for evening aarti.

Day 08: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (30 Kms by Road / 19 Kms Trek)

After breakfast, leave for Guptkashi. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 09: Guptkashi – Badrinath (160 Kms / 7Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for Badrinath. Upon arrival in Badrinath check into hotel. Badrinath is the last and most important dham on your yatra. The Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu. Evening visit the temple for aarti. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (155 Kms/ 5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. It is named after one of the many names of Lord Shiva (Rudra) and the two rivers Mandakini and Alaknanda meet here. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag check into hotel. In the evening you can visit the Jagdamaba Temple and the Shiva Temple.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (142 Kms / 5 Hrs drive)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Rishikesh. Upon arrival in Rishikesh check into hotel. Rishikesh is most visited by holistic seekers and pilgrims alike. It is also considered the Yoga capital of the world. You can visit Lakshman Jhula and experience evening aarti at Triveni Ghat.

Day 12: Rishikesh – Delhi -Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the airport/ railway station for return journey home.
