Day 1: Arrival Mumbai
Welcome to Mumbai – the city of dreams. Upon arrival our representative would meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon is free to relax after the long journey. Evening head out to Marine Drive or also known as the Queen’s necklace. It also comprises of inverted funnel shaped concrete structures. These structures provide protection to the promenade.
Day 2: Mumbai
After breakfast, proceed for the Mumbai sightseeing. Today we will visit the Gateway of India. It was built for the welcome of King George V and Queen Mary on their maiden visit to India. Today it is a major tourist attraction of Mumbai. From here we take a ferry to Elephanta Caves. The caves boasts of art and sculptures engraved in stone. After the tour take the ferry back and visit other places of interest. Visit the Gandhi Museum, the posh locales of Juhu and Bandra- which houses the residences of famous Bollywood stars. After lunch visit the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati temple. After darshan, spend the evening at Juhu Chowpatty. Later return to the hotel.
Day 3: Mumbai – Aurangabad (By air)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival in Aurangabad, check into the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing in this historical city named after the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. First we visit Bibi Ka Maqbara. Visually quite similar to the Taj Mahal, the locals also refer to it as the Mini Taj Mahal. It was built by Azam Shah in memory of his mother Begum Rabia Durrani. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Aurangabad – Ajanta- Aurangabad (Excursion 105 Kms, 2 Hrs – one way)
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Ajanta Caves. The 29 caves date back to 2 nd Century and is recognized as UNESCO World Heritage site today. The Caves are located in the Sahyadri Hills and depict the Buddhism era of that time. The paintings and sculptures are exceptionally beautiful. Later return back to Aurangabad for overnight stay.
Day 5: Aurangabad – Ellora Caves (Excursion 40 Kms, 1 Hr – one way)
After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Ellora. The Ellora caves are also recognized as UNESCO world heritage site. The Ellora caves are divided into three parts- The Hindu caves, Jain Caves and Buddhist Caves. After the excursion return back to Aurangabad.
Day 6: Aurangabad to Mumbai (By flight)
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to the airport to catch return flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. You can utilize it for shopping. Mumbai is a shopper’s paradise as it caters to both luxury and budget shoppers. Shop your heart out and end the last evening in Mumbai by checking out the bustling nightlife of the city.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch return flight home.
